A storage facility for oil that has been extracted from the ground. There is often a pipeline between the oil field where the oil is produced and the terminal where it is stored. The oil can be easily transported from the terminal and distributed to other locations.
e.g. In Atlantica, the main oil terminal for the war-torn region of South Aipotu is Port Moreton.See the original article or dialogue this vocabulary item comes from: visit payasyoulearn.com , a website created by Robert Dennis to help people improve their language skills for Business English and General English.
